Polarization technology
It is a well-known technology in our sunglasses. For imaging applications it is a great tool removing/detecting reflected images of an object. Imaging by using polarized beam splitter and 2 image sensors makes it possible to output 2 different phases of image data (P wave and S wave). That result Image is useful for defect inspection on the target object especially for glossy and shiny surface such as cotton inspection.
For example: Detecting polarized images of bills, detecting scratches on both front and back sides of a glass, Detecting contamination, etc.
